Learn About the Pumpkin Life Cycle
A pumpkin begins as a seed. When the seed starts to grow, a small sprout emerges. The sprout develops into a young plant, which grows larger and produces a vine.
As the vine grows, it develops flowers. After flowering, a small green pumpkin begins to form. The pumpkin continues to grow and eventually becomes a mature pumpkin, completing the cycle.
This activity helps children explore how plants change as they grow and introduces the idea that living things go through different stages of development.
